Hey guys I'm up in Canada and I want to buy an RFB. However up here they run about $2600 so before I drop that much change I want to know how this thing is gonna last. Let me know pros and cons, what things start wearing out and what issues I may come across. Thanks!

The gun has changed a lot since it's introduction. Early ones had a few problems with broken extractors, broken firing pins, gas knob detent pins getting mangled, but it has calmed down to almost nothing lately with the current production models.
Several members here have over 2000 rounds thru theirs.
They don't post much....too busy shooting:D.
I know I have over 750 rounds thru mine and don't see signs of anything wearing out. (I did have 1 broken firing pin, took all of 5 minutes to change, whoopteedamdo).

I'm assuming for $2600 you're not looking at a used early model:rolleyes:.
Those would have the most problems.

And on the new ones, don't forget: "LIFETIME WARRANTY":D. Mail it to them, they fix it and mail it back.
You're out only postage:).

Ditto with what Blake said, and I have three, in different versions. :D

Sympathies for having to put out so much coin in Canada with the exchange rate, limited suppliers and all.
