I have recently been given a Keltec 32. I shot about 20 rounds through it a few years ago and at the time it functioned perfectly. When I received the gun it had a live round in the chamber. I racked the slide and the round became lodged in the ejection port. The round is just too long. I actually had to use a screwdriver and pry the round out. Is this a common problem? When I shot it I racked the slide to put a round in the chamber from the mag but the gun obviously ejected an empty casing. I live about 10 miles from Keltec so I could drop it off to them if necessary. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

It's pretty normal. These pistols are so light and small that they often have troubles ejecting live rounds. Like you posted...it's the length of the unfired round. They have trouble passing through the small ejection port.

Not unusual in 1st Gen P-32s and P3ATs. They will not always eject some full length loaded rounds manually. Sometimes, they will if you rack the slide really quickly, but the best and safest method is to not use any tools that might damage the live round. Drop the magazine, lock the slide to the rear (in the P3AT you will have to hold it their by wrapping the support hand over the slide and frame), then simply push the live round straight down through the magazine well with your index finger. There is nothing wrong with your P32. You will find that it will probably eject live JHPs or other shorter rounds, but I would stick with the full length FMJs.
