Been away for a while, you never have enough time in the military. Went to the range today and got 5 light strikes from Remington UMC, 95 gr FMJ after about 50 rds. Any of you guys had any trouble with UMC. I have used it in the past with no issues. Plus my mag kept falling out. No one else has been shooting my weapon either. And I have always babied her when it comes to inserting the mag. Thanks

    Blue is what most use
Purple is lower strength, but hard to find
elmar's has held good for me ;)

I used drill bits by hand to clean the build up of lint and lube. the drilled holes IDs in the slide are 0.161” (#20) and 0.073” (#49).

I've always had good luck with that ammo. Be sure you are not short-stroking the trigger [let it fully reset].

i also have had good luck with that brand of ammo. might be a dirty firing pin area. clean her up real good and take her back to the range.
