Kydex holster - P3AT with Arma Laser

Hi everyone, I'm one of the new kids on the block. I've been lurking on the forum and have made a couple of replies. I'm sure some of you can shed a little light on my question before I really mess up.
I want to make a Kydex holster for my P3AT while the Arma Laser is attached. My concern is the heat required for molding the Kydex damaging the Arma Laser. Was just wondering if any of you have done it and the results. I got a De Santis pocket holster with the laser but I would like to make a IWB holster.

I'm not sure how much heat the AL could take w/o damage. You might check with AL on that. Just guessing, I'd say that holster makers might use a unit with no guts for molding purposes.
I made a dummy AL out of wood and duct taped it to the P3AT. More to follow after I finish the holster. If it comes out good I will include some pictures, if it doesn't come out so good say it did and forget the pics! :-[
Finally finished holster. Used a wooden block to form it so as not to damage ArmaLaser. It aint perfect but I'm learnin'.

That's pretty slick. I've been very dissapointed at the limited options for holsters for the P3AT with Armalaser. All that is available that is not a pocket holster are leather holsters that are too high to me. For instance, I don't want to spend $60 for an IWB holster that I only use occasionally, and the only OWB holster I can find is the Don Hume for $60. Anything else is custom and costs even more, and is only available in leather.
One option is switching to the Crimson trace laser...I did and it's night and day better ergonomics
Here is my OWB holster from Leather Creek Holsters. It was $40 and I really like using it. Walt is not very quick to answer e-mails but he will respond. We live near one another and he runs the local gun range at Oakwood Sportsmans Lodge. I got the holster directly from him, not through the website. He does not make these for any type of laser.
