FedEx knocked on my door a few minutes ago... my CMR has returned

The accompanying paperwork notes:
X Replaced internal parts
X Chamber serviced
X Test fired

*Updated bolt block, bolt catch and bolt pin.

The action does feel smoother.

I'll try and get back to the range soon.

Let us know the results after range time. I'm going back to range soon too but damn I do hate the cost and scarce of the 22mag ammos tho.

I was able to accumulate an ammo stash while my CMR was away, and I'll try a savor each round.

Quick trip back to the local indoor range today... I fired 120 rounds and experienced
a couple FTF with the 33 gr. Remington, but everything else worked as advertised.

My CMR prefers 40 gr. pills, and it's very accurate

I returned the EOTech to my CQB-16 M14, and installed my old Aimpoint Micro T1 on a tall Aimpoint riser with Aimpoint throw lever base on the CMR-30. It's not a precision set-up, but it will put rounds where I want them out to 100 yards.

sounds good. i hope KelTec manages to update the units they are shipping.

my dealer cannot get one, no matter what. seems like they are all shipped to TX or "the south", nobody has seen one up this way for any price.

if necessary, i'll do one of the now MSRP online guys and have it shipped, but it seems a shame to overpay. though they're not $2000 anymore, i'm still waiting

The Aimpoint was traded away, so I installed a Holosun HS503C last night...
I like the little CMR so much that I'm actively looking for a 2nd one locally.

Nice! do me a favor, move your stock forward one notch and tell me if it feels more solid than when fully extended.

I have a Leupold VX-1 2-7X28 Rimfire scope that would probably work great on the CMR.
Maybe I'll give it a try when I find myself a second CMR.

It's the same story with a SAGE EBR M14ALCS, less than fully extended was more stable.
