Can anyone confirm that the these 2 models use the same trigger?
If you mean the physical plastic trigger piece itself? Yeah, same part. It's literally part number KSG-216.

The KS7 has a 'filler' piece which fills in a gap where the magazine-selector would have been.

The KS7 also has a different part number for the hammer bar assembly instead of each individual piece of the hammer bar assembly having a part number.

And obviously the KS7 has different shell/housing numbers for the left/right parts of the grip assembly.

Otherwise it's the same part numbers as the KSG for every component in there.

Much appreciated! Yes, I was referring to the physical plastic trigger piece.

Since the MCarbo trigger is out of stock, I was looking at another aftermarket offering for my KS7.
