Hey
Got my KS7 new and took to the range on Saturday.
Started with short shells they worked okay.
Than tried 60 rounds plus of SB low recoil slugs, SB buck, Challenger bird, Winchester AAs, Federal Slugs and all had failure to extract.
Every 2nd or 3rd round failure to extract.
Chamber is rough. See pictures
Should I just try polishing it out????
Thanks

Just spit balling.
What is that yellowish green junk in the chamber? Maybe give it a good cleaning then try regular rounds see how they function. Then try the mini shells. See if the mini shells create that film.

Kel-Tec parkerizes the barrels, including inside the bore and chamber.
This can cause failures to extract, especially with low brass budget ammo, with Winchester bulk pack being notorious for extraction problems in the Remington Express and Kel-Tec shotguns.

The standard fix is to polish at least the chamber.
In most cases that cures the problem. If not, the gun may need a warranty return to Kel-Tec.
