Hi guys. It's been a while.
A little story here. I regret I sold my P-32 to an insistent friend. Last Month I bought a brand new P-32 from Southern Shooters. It took me 2 weeks to get my hands on it on my FFL dealer. I went straight to the range and on every shot I had a malfunction. No ejection, no feeding. I know about rimlock, but this wasn't the case. The spent round never left the barrel and the next round was sitting in the bottom of the spent round. I never had a single problem with the first one. I contacted Keltec and they sent me a label from Fedex and the gun is on its way to Florida. Does anyone has ever had a problem like this on yours? Here are some pics. Total of 100 Fiochi FMJ and 25 rds of Hornady HP. The gun cycled only a few times. Almost every time I had to remove the magazine, and manually eject the spent round.

Huh. Weird. Never had that happen in any of my three P32's (two Gen1's and one Gen2). Looks to me like a failure to extract: spent shell is only being pulled out halfway (in this instance) before the extractor claw slips off the rim and the next round underneath is getting hung up on the spent shell that's still halfway in the chamber. Dunno if replacing the extractor and/or extractor spring is the solution, or if some machining of the breech face is necessary, but one or the other (or all) would be my guess.

Have I mentioned lately that I am reeeeeeeally not a fan of Kel-Tec switching to the huge external extractor design that they first used on the PF9 and have been bringing over to everything else over the years, including the P32 and P3AT? If they switch the P11 over to this crap design, which has been notoriously problematic in the PF9, then say goodbye to the P11's reputation of reliability. :(

Rather uncommon and surely unfortunate. I would guess some issue with the extractor. The good news is that after the tech finds and fixes the problem, it will be test fired for reliability before returning it. Hopefully you'll get a gun as reliable as your other one and reasonably short turnaround. It's always nice to hear the outcome on these cases so come back to this thread with your turnaround time and then let us know when it's been to the range.

Yes, either the extractor or the barrel is NG. I have several Gen2 guns are flawless. My original Gen1 did the same exact thing as yours. After I returned it to Kel-Tec they replaced the barrel and all has been well. :)

I'd stay away from BB ammo in that gun. And most guns as well...

I had similar results with my P32 after going straight to the range.
Did you clean and lubricate the gun? After taking the gun home, disassembling it, cleaning and lubricating it I have had ZERO problems.
I did. And went back there same afternoon. I hope it will be fixed and run ok. I really love the P-32.

Same thing here

Same thing happened to me, I went to the rand the second time ever to shot almost every other shot failed to eject. Winchester whit box ammo was the worst. I brought us back to the fun store and they are having their gunsmith take a look at it.

Turnaround time on my lemon was several weeks. Wouldn't have minded as much if they'd comped me a loaner while mine was in the shop. The smith did quite a bit of work on mine before sending it back to me. All under warranty at no cost, including shipping both ways. Still, the inconvenience of being without a small, lightweight, polymer framed semi-automatic handgun for a while was moderately unpleasant.

Winchester white box in 9MM is the notorious poster round for under powered ammunition. That may apply to the 32 ACP load as well. I have quite a few boxes of the stuff in 32 ACP, since it will fit in my Seecamp. I plan on running some of it through my P-32s and using Gold Dots in my Seecamp.

Back to the range

Well it is still messing up. Had about 5 failures to eject today, mostly with the Winchester ammo, Imhad the best luck today with some old browning ammo, but the gun is very far from reliable. Looks like I need to send it back to the factory.

Use some different ammo. Winchester white box is notorious for not working well in Kel Tec's and a lot of other pistols. It's junk for the most part.

Pull your top end off, take the barrel out and find a sharp #2 pencil. Run the pencil tip inside your chamber like you are trying to draw a line parallel to the muzzle. Does it feel scratchy or rough? If so then this could be your issue. I had a rough chamber on my PF-9 and had it fixed in a jiffy on the lathe. It runs flawless now.

I got is back from kel-tec. Took it to the range today and it ore formerly perfectly with all ammo, including Winchester. Kel-Tc customer service is great. They said the problem was with the ejector, they replaced it free of charge.
