Is this normal? *video link added

I have a Gen II and when I got it I added a small dab of red loctite on the front sight and timed it. Last night after shooting I notice a cant. I took the handguard off and when I hold my barrel I can turn it about 1/2" either side with play. How are we supposed to zero the sight when the barrel can still move? I want to avoid sending the rifle in if it's something I can do.

I haven't personally used it but a friend did and they were great. He was at least the 3rd owner. He shot the bore out, they charged him $40 to transfer the warranty into his name and then sent him a brand new gun (this was an SU16).

I was wondering how the warranty worked because I'm not the original owner and the guy I bought it from never shot it, also will they frown upon they trigger spring (installed by original owner) and trigger upgrade (installed by me)?

I don't know about the trigger spring, but here is my experience:

I bought a used S2K Gen1 from a large sporting goods chain. After taking it to the range a few times it stove piped once, but in an unusual fashion which on inspection I thought was a manufacturing flaw. I sent a picture to Kel-Tec customer service and they agreed with me. They requested I send it to them for repair. In my communication with them I was always clear that I was not the original owner. I expected that I would be charged for the repair.

It took a while, but they shipped back a brand new S2K Gen2 with a modified original serial number - at no charge!

I wish their repair service was faster, but in my case they more than made up for that sluggish speed in my opinion. They cemented a very high opinion of their commitment to customer care in my mind.

Update 10/18 (so far it's not starting out so great. I'm sure it's not the front sight post but the barrel is loose SMH)
If you remove and send me your whole front sight assembly with a note and ticket number, I’ll send you the new style front sight at no charge.

10/19 (wish me luck also I'm not the original owner so I have to pay for shipping to and from):
I would recommend sending the firearm to us for service through a dealer or UPS/FedEx only. Please include a copy of the purchase receipt (if you have it), a note of the issue and your contact and shipping information. If anything else is needed, someone will call you before the return of your firearm. It’s about 8-10 weeks turnaround right now. Our shipping address is

Wow this was totallly unexpected. Came home and saw a Fed Ex delivery notice and went to my office to pickup my package. Long a behold it was my Sub2K back from Kel Tec. It was shipped by me and arrived a KT on 10/25 and the work order says completed on 11/10 and today is 11/18. My issue was the barrel moving (see video) and the work order said replaced front sight but the barrel, handguard, barrel nut and front sight post all looks brand new. The handguard screws looks brand new. I will report back with a new video. I was told 8-10 weeks but this was like 2 weeks. Thanks Kel Tec:
