Like Title says, is it OK to dry fire the RDB?

I honestly don't know. Never seen one up close to tell you if it's safe to do or not. But...if it were mine, I would never dry fire a weapon without a good quality snap cap in place. They don't cost much, and can save so much in wear and tear and possible broken parts.

Do it with a snap cap...just to be on the safe side.

It's perfectly safe to dry fire it, like the AR15 and AK. You can use snap caps too, if you wish, but it's not necessary.

I don't know any modern firearms that aren't ok to dry fire. Like the AR though, I wouldn't dry fire when disassembled (you want the hammer contacting the firing pin/bolt carrier, not the frame of the gun).

Most, if not all, Kel Tec weapons shouldn't be dry fired without using a snap cap. This is right from Kel Tec...call them and ask.

That's not the answer that I got from Eric at KelTec. He said that is was perfectly safe to dry fire, but they would prefer the use of snap caps.
