I honestly don't know. Never seen one up close to tell you if it's safe to do or not. But...if it were mine, I would never dry fire a weapon without a good quality snap cap in place. They don't cost much, and can save so much in wear and tear and possible broken parts.

Do it with a snap cap...just to be on the safe side.

Most, if not all, Kel Tec weapons shouldn't be dry fired without using a snap cap. This is right from Kel Tec...call them and ask.
That's not the answer that I got from Eric at KelTec. He said that is was perfectly safe to dry fire, but they would prefer the use of snap caps.
