Hello all,

I am considering buying a p32 or p3at to add to my carry rotation. I was wondering if all of the p32s come with the pocket clip and if they hold open on the last shot fired?

You do know do you not, that the only questions that are stupid are the ones not asked? LOL!!

Thanks ahead of time for the responses.

Welcome to KTOG.

The pocket clip is an accessory, the pistols don't come with one from the factory...you'll have to buy one separate.

And Yes...the little pocket .32's have a last round hold open feature.

Is the P32 striker fired or hammer fired?

I use a BORAII holster like the above for my p32. It's a great setup I made two modifications-first one Bic lighter to lighten the retention and made a more prominent hook (Dremel) to snag during the draw. Other than the ammo cost you can't go wrong with 32

Carried my first generation P32 for well over a decade. Twice it was the gun I had with me when the woods got quiet. While not a 'giant killer' or my first choice go to gun if I was say involved in a Zimmermimian kerfuffle, (there's a catch phase for you), but it isn't a snowball or a sharp stick either.

Nice back up gun or a gun to have when you can't carry something more well suited to a fight. Which is to say, almost always.

BTW. We are here to learn, and when able to teach or offer assistance. Thanks for the trust in the group.

As I have told my pupils on occasion.

There are no 'stupid' questions. If I don't know, I will find out or point you in the direction of an answer.

Welcome to the forum. If you find yourself looking at used P32s and the slide doesn't hold open on one you're considering (common in my experience), it more than likely means the pistol is well broken in and the mag follower is worn. This is not a major concern and is easily remedied by ordering a new mag from Kel-tec and making it your primary and/or replacing the follower in the affected mag. When I bought my P32 the store let me swap mags with another used model they had. BTW, I own both the P32 and P3AT. Either is an excellent choice.

I have had the pocket clip on my P32 for years and works very well clipped to waist line of denims. One thing if you install one: Be sure to use some "blue" locktite on the screw threads otherwise, can come loose as I found out.

When I was looking for a CCW weapon, the main goal was a dependable weapon that wouldn't weigh me down. I watched a lot of YouTube vids and went on forums and asked about the p-32. At a local LGS, they had a p-32 on sale, so after looking decided to buy the pistol. The store carried s&b which I have shot exclusively in my gun. No ftf or fte's. Now I carry it full time.
