KT uses a alpha-numeric system.

CLICK HEREfor an old post that explains the serial numbering. You can call KT and they will tell you when your gun was made

Thanks JFB, I checked out your linl on the Alpha numeric system.

It say there that the letter I AND O are not used so that they are not confuesed with the numbers 1 and 0.

now I'm confuesed cause my s/n is KOD93...... I've tried to call kel-tec several times yesterday and today, I always get a busy signal.... suppose I'll just have to keep trying....god bless the redial button :)

KOD93....

so KT started with "H0000", made 116,000
then they went to "J0000" and made another 116,000
and you now have a "K" and since the first K, they have made 1393

kilo
zero (0X3400=0)
delta(13X100=1300
nine (9X10=90)
three(3)

If you call to get your date made, please let us know and I'll add it to that link
