I raised my sights over 1/2".
14mm to be precise. Because my front sight post was perfectly centered in the front sight hood, I had an idea of adding a front sight to the top of the hood. My first thought was a shotgun bead. So researching, I found one with a tiny threaded post. I also found KNS Precision hooded cross hair replacement posts for the AK and AR. So I ordered all three.

I ended up using the shotgun bead. And so far so good.

So, then I used an extra rear sight I had. Cut it up and attached it to the original rear sight.

When you are able to post pictures, I would love to see your finished sights.

Would like to see some close ups. Cannot tell much from the picture above.
This is something Keltec should do. Better peep sights and 1" higher.
I would be happy with open sights if they were higher and a little better quality for more accurate shooting.
I like to keep things simple.

Gen2, well,... You might try some of the old school front sight replacement. Way back when, (before Red Lion Precision) members were using Hi-Point carbine front sights. Or check with RLP, they have a cool folding front sight. Better yet, contact them. They may be working on a taller set of sights... I hope so, members and owners have been begging for taller sights for EVER!!!!!
    I got tired of waiting.
