Gen 2 Sub 2000 and all stock so far. One range trip and it ran like a top and ate everything I put through it. "My Problem" to get a sight picture I am really pressing my face into the tube and after 100 rounds yesterday, today it feels like I was punched in the eye. Adding a tube cover would make it worse and I'm trying to keep the 2000 as simple as possible. Has anyone else had this experience and how did you fix it? Thanks in advance, Rick

I hate to say it...but everyone has pretty much the same "problem" ....it's the nature of the beast.

Not much you can do, unless you can find taller sights, which no-one has ever really found anything that would work.

Best I can say is good luck, try to get used to it. Unless someone knows something I don't?

I had the same results with shooting mine. Tried the Tacticool cover and it just made it harder to get a good sight picture. So I took the cover off and drilled out the rear sight to 3/16" by hand as the plastic is real soft. I then put a dab of florescent yellow on the front post. I can get a real quick sight now and don't have to press my cheek hard against the bolt tube. The hole can be larger but that worked for me.

Got mine yesterday, and 100 rds later, exact experience..sighting off the top of the peep hole, I can do..getting down to look thru is painful
Looking back thru posts now for info on offset mounts with a red dot, as it's going to be best option for me right now. Hopefully a good aftermarket setup will show.
I did notice looking down the gun at a offset angle, I could pick up the irons a little easier than trying to sight on vertical plane.
Love shooting it tho..
