I am considering buying a P3AT for EDC CCW. Before I do, I need to know that I can get a durable, tuckable IWB holster with a stiff mouth(for easy reholstering) that can easily fit a 2" wide belt.

The price has to be under $60 shipped, or else I'l just buy a Fobus paddle holster or Galco Tuck N Go, take it apart, and install my own tuckable belt loop for a 2" belt.

Do those clips show outside the belt, or are they like J-hooks? Also, would the backing take a set from being in my car's (narrow) console glovebox in hot weather. Would they be easy to surreptitiously clip on or remove in the car while sitting?

My employer enforces a (stricter than the FAA) no-weapons policy, you see, and I need to be able to easily carry to work, remove it in the car, and put it back on immediately after work. It also has to be summer friendly, so if those two clips show against a light-colored belt, its probably a no-go.

I like the way wallet holsters function, to be sure. I do worry about the implications of wearing one in a potential pickpocket environment, though.

A wallet holster would definitely solve my work problems, though. A combination of the Wallet holster and the Kholster might do it.

I'd still rather not spend the combined price of both to solve my problems, though. Especially since I can imagine the exact type of holster I want.

I basically want something like a Galco Tuck N Go that has a J-hook designed for a 2" belt.

I might just end up doing a custom solution. If I do and it works well, I'll post pictures and a brief description of what I did to make it work.

Yeah. A pocket holster could work. I'd have to find something useful of "close enough" weight and size to keep in my pocket while at work, though. Maybe a Pocket Ref.

That Crossbreed QwikClip looks interesting, but it doesn't appear to be sold for the P3AT or LCP.

Also, I haven't been able to determine what size belt it is designed for.
