Did you special order the Henry?
IT was a promotion from my LGS. The President of Henry is coming in July to present the guns but I have to work so I got it early. I lost all my leave fighting Cancer this year so this was a gift from a special friend. :rayof:

Congrats on the gun and I hope you are cancer free. Finished up chemo about this time last year and, as of earlier this month, the CT scan still shows all clear so from one to another, keep up the fight.

I love lever guns but only have one Henry rifle (my other two levers are pre-safety Marlins - well, a Marlin and a Glenfield, which of course is actually a Marlin.) My Henry is just a basic .22LR model but it just might be a toss up between it and my Rossi .22WMR pump as to which of all my rifles I am most accurate with using open sights (as well as which of all my rifles is the most fun to shoot.) I am sure you will love it and having your name on it is super cool. Congrats, again!

3 month check up was clear so now I'm going to 3 month visits with the Dr. I got lucky it was stage 1. I had it on my tongue and they took a 1/3 of my tongue on the left side and my lymph nodes also on that side. No chemo just the surgery. It's been a tough year but we pulled through. Kirk knows all about it. Glad to be able talk and eat normally. Got a nice scar out of it around my neck but the fat roll hides it mostly.
