While out shooting our P3AT's a sheriff deputy showed up. (We were shooting on private property adjacent to public land and someone was concerned we were actually ON the public land so they called the sheriff.) We got to chatting and he owned a Bersa 380 but was thinking about getting about a P3AT himself, so we discussed the KelTec for a while. I'd been researching local CCL instructors and asked him if he had any recommendations. He had a solid recommendation for a guy that works with the Sheriff's department, and it happened to be the second time this instructor was suggested. My CCL instructor search is now over - thanks to somebody calling the cops on me.
