Can someone tell me the thread size and pitch of the locking collar on the back of the receiver . No , I still don't have my gun yet lol . I have read of so many people having issues with that collar coming loose. I thought if I could lightly run a die over the back of the receiver to get the collar something to grab , I may not have an issue. Thanks in advance . M

GEN 1 & 2 nuts are treaded. GEN 1 is treaded and GEN 2 the receiver is not treaded. On GEN 2 you turn nut clockwise to tighten even though there aren't any treads cut into receiver, nut will tighten on plastic receiver, then use small amount of blue locktite to hold. It works.

I get what you're thinking. Cut threads into the cone that the collar slides onto.
You would probably have to remove additional material where the collar end meets the receiver (yellow arrows) so that you can slide the collar over a larger diameter of polymer.
The collar imprints threads into the polymer as it is screwed on, there just isn't much polymer there for the collar to catch. Gun Firearm Airsoft Airsoft gun Laser guns

I had to remove mine to install the Mcarbo trigger and spring set. It did screw off and it had to be screwed back on, even thought it didn't have any treads on Polymer it did tighter up, it's not a slip on fit. Mcarbo says to use small amount of blue locktite. Great video on there website shows removal and installation during trigger and spring mod. I will also do this mod on my Gen 2 40 cal. Makes a big difference.
