Howdy, everybody. I'm a new owner of a gen 2 9mm sub 2k. So far I love it except the trigger. I took the rifle apart to install an aztac trigger. Everything went well except when i was don i noticed a small black piece on the table. According to the owners manual it is part #248 ejector. Shown in this PDf.

I have no idea where the proper location of this part is.

Can anyone help me?

The ejector sits in the receiver tube, just above where the magazine would sit. Pics would help...

i see where it goes now, but which direction does it go?

got it, i can see a very small cutout that it fits in better one direction than the other

If you look at the left receiver half in that diagram you will see a slot in the half that the ejector should seat into. It is probably held in place by the bolt tube being laid in over it. From the diagram the higher angled side looks like it should face the barrel. That is the side that catches the retreating case rim to eject it from the action.
