Does anyone sell just the hard chrome slide and are there any negatives to having one? I kind of like the look. Thanks.

A tech at Kel Tec told me a hard chromed slide for a PF9 would be $80. I would have bought one on the spot, but they were out of stock the last time I was there.

I bought one from the company for $99 when I had peening issues with my other HC slide. They hold up well and I recommend them over anything else just for that reason. Some guys go for the all-black look with their guns and I admit to being one of them, but the HC is not only practical, it looks good as well.

I bought a factory hard chrome to avoid having to deal with any rust issues. I carry in my pocket daily, so chrome was the only way to go.
