What a weird journey this was...it started out about 5 years ago with me wanting this new .22mag that held 30rds in the mag...but of course?...so did everyone else! LOL! and the street prices went through the attic. :(

Last week I'm at the LGS and spy one in the counter...a Titanium PMR-30...$539....clerk says?...buy it today and I'll take $50 off...sold! :)

So now that I finally own one (and thinking I finally have a pistol my wife and daughters can enjoy shooting) I also realize it's massive potential...what with nearly compromising bullet proof vest...30rds...shoots like a charm....I start thinking I might need a CMR-30 to compliment it...but alas?...I also struggled with the idea of owning two new firearms chambered for a difficult to obtain round...but?...I just bought 1,000rds of Hornady .22WMR Vmax so?...but still...not sure I want my primary to be in .22mag...and today?...I was headed to the LGS to test/function fire that ammo in the PMR when I spied yet another wild find ya just don't see everyday...and in a chambering that I'm more than really well equipped for and have loads of it...so this?....was a no brainer! :)

Looks like i get to post in (2) KTOG forums now! :)

Congrats! The Sub 2000 is a ton of fun.
Thanks Tex!...I love the shooting sports and have participated in pretty much all forms of it from 3-gun tactical competitions too traditional archery and the S2K has been on my radar ever since I realized there was a cool, compact carbine out there that not only accepts my glock mags but also folds in 1/2 to be tucked away in the deep recesses of wherever it may be.

I'm also a bit of a closet prepper I guess...I was in the cub scouts, boy scouts and marines and they all shared this one particular creedo...

"Be Prepared"

and to have a compact carbine that shares the same mags and ammo as my G34 sidearm?....with a backpack full of mags full of 9mm?..well for me?...this new too me Keltec S2K just made being prepared a whole lot easier! LOL!

I'm hoping to give it a good wringing out at the range on the way home from work tomorrow. ;)

And where I go?...He goes...and we've brightened up many a dark path! LOL!

Then again?...He's got a flame thrower that's out of this world! LOL! ;)

Similar path...
I bought a CMR last month (love it), traded a G19 for a G17 last week (needed it),
then I ordered a PMR (it arrives tomorrow), and I traded for a new GLK19 SUB2K today!

I totally cleared out my lever action rifles & revolvers in the same time-frame. Less is more.

I got a G2 last October. Love it! I already had a Glock 27 .40S&W, and a G23 .40S&W with Lone Wolfe 9mm conversion barrels. Then I bought a G19 a month ago. My G4 G17FDE should be in at Rural King tomorrow. I was going to get a Palmetto State Glock dedicated lower and 9mm upper. Always out of stock on the upper and the don't do LRHO just like the Subbie. I'll hold off on the PSA until they fix that. I may eventually get a Roni. Niece's fiance has one in .40 as a duty weapon that takes a G22 or G23 frame and it has LRHO.
