Well, I'm giving up and sending my PMR back to Kel-Tec tomorrow. My FTF problem is still there, even with my mag mods. Went to the range today and every mag, including a stock one. The thing just doesn't work.
Feeling better today after shooting a buddy's new PMR. Three full mags went through it using Colorado Buck 40g, Fiocchi 40g and Winchester 40g without a hitch! This gun is soooo much fun to shoot!! I'm hoping mine can be fixed to shoot like his. We'll see in 6-8 weeks....
Just got 2 back from Keltec. RFB was about 6 weeks and CMR about 7 weeks. Last time I called and asked they told me about month and half turnaround time
Got the call today! The PMR is ready! Looking forward to getting this gun back and shooting the snot out of it. I have accumulated some ammo so I'm stoked to hit the range.
I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do. Unfortunately mine only eats Hornady. Doesn't like Winchester or CCI. Kel-Tec suggested I polish the feed ramp.
Great day at the range today. Ran 200+ rounds through the PMR without a hitch until I broke the firing pin. Had a replacement and my tools with me and it was replaced on the line. 5 minutes later I was slinging 22 mags down range again.
No fail to feed issues! Happy with the gun and Kel-Tec. Love this pistol.
Polished the feed ramp and "serviced" the chamber was checked on the included work sheet. My front sight was updated and I believe this is a different slide.
Back at the range yesterday and the PMR worked flawlessly. Shot Hornaday V-Max 30 grain, which is the load that it choked on badly before. Shot some Hornaday Critical Defense 45 grain and the gun really loved this. My confidence is back.
