Photo attached, anyone else have this issue? All I have to do is nudge it to get it to slide into place but I shouldn't have to do this on a brand new gun

It's normal. Some do, some don't.

Okay, I guess it makes me feel a little better that it is somewhat common... just as long as it doesn't affect accuracy.
