Went out shooting today and after about 100 rounds noticed that my front sight rotated. Removed the forearm and found out the whole barrel was rotating and I was able to completely unscrew it off. Looks like it was simply tread lock in place, the round locking rings are tight in place, has anyone had this happen and what did youy do to fix it?

They started pinning the barrels after the initial run of gen 2's to prevent this Is yours pinned? It is a simple cross pin near the hinge.

I have an early model Gen 2 9mm (number is mid 1200's) ....mine is pinned.

If you can do without it for a while I imagine your best bet is to send it back to Keltec.

Wonder if they missed pinning it some how, if properly pinned it would be virtually impossible for it to spin. Could have missed the barrel with the pin too I suppose.

Its only 3 months old and it went back to the store after one day for a loose barrel and it spent the next two months at Kel Tec. I have been upgrading the gun and went out shooting recently when i discovered it was loose again but this time it easily unscrewed completely out. I do not want to return it to Kel tec again and have it gone for anouther two months, the gun barrel appears to have fine threads and it looks like its held in place with thread lock but there was not much on there, maybe thats why it came loose???
