what is a good gap measurement between barrel hood and slide at lock up?

On those "good" PF-9s I have been able to measure, I found the "gap" to be .003-005. On the one "peened" PF-9 I measured, it was considerably in excess of .006 (peening prevented an accurate measurement at the time).

I got .005 tight, on this reolacement gun, need to break in and see if it peens or whatever, so far it has shot 15 rnds perfectly, thanks Stan
