Almost everything on this rifle is tight. I'm going to have to sand the ten round magazine that came with it. The muzzle protector came off by hand. I'm mounting a Midwest Industries sound re-director on it so I won't blast peoples ears at the indoor ranges. I've got a C clamp over a rag to see if I can wear down the spring tension on the tab springs.

Well I finally got the bi-pod to deploy. Meanwhile while the bi-pod is down, I'm working the tabs up and down to wear the spring tension down some....I hope no body takes a photo 'cause it looks like I'm having a "relationship" with the rifle.

Having to send it in for possible Warranty Work

Well I got my SU-16C apart but could not get the charging handle install. I fussed with it looking repeatedly at the manual and the online videos until I was ready to take the soft hammer and Dremell tool with grinder bit to it. I've packed it away to keep from going crazy on it.
It seems that it is taking them about 8 weeks to do their warranty work for the SU-16, and I spent to much money on the rifle and accessories so I can't afford to ship it until December. So I figure I wont get it back until late February of 2017.
At least by then I will have enough brass cased 5.56 heavy bullet NATO to break it in before I try to take it down. It may get a bit smokey at the range but until I get about 300 rounds through it, a bore snake will have to do for cleaning.
