For some reason this forum has smaller fonts than other forums that I frequent. Is there a way to change my settings to make the fonts larger?

You have to change the font size in whatever browser you're using.

That's annoying because it reverts back each time I close the browser to the tiny font... I was hoping that there was a way of setting font size in my profile.

    Your monitor is too big!!

See, with my old 16" one, the font is too big every morning, and I have to make it smaller to get it all on the screen.

Just goes to show, you can't please everyone.

BTW: Don't know what browser you use, but with IE, at the top of the screen, go to View, then Font Size, and pick the size you like.

With Windows, you should also be able to hold down the Ctrl key and roll the mouse wheel up & down to change the font size too.

See right there is why I love the internet and this forum in particular.
I am always learning something that I didn't even know that I didn't know.

    Thanks RC

Thanks for the tip... I use Firefox and to change the font size, just press "Ctrl" and the plus or minus (-/+)

the ctrl and scroll also carries over into firefox from windows and there is also a place to set up font and size in firefox's settings.

I don't know why. The font here for the body of messages is set to verdana 12. As was said, you can increase or decrease that on your browser.

My screen resolution is set to 1600x1200 with a 21" tube monitor.

As far as the Firefox settings, I have it set for the website to set the fonts and size.

I'll play with to see if I can find a happy medium for all the forums and websites I visit.

This forum does not tell your browser what font size to use.
Instead, it (correctly) leaves that up to you and your browser.
You probably want to change the default font setting in your
browser. You'll find that under Edit - Preferences - Appearance - Fonts
or some similar location, depending on which browser you use.
That is stored across closing and opening the browser, and across

There are just a few spots on the page, like the "News" section at
the top, where a specific font is specified. There should be no font
size specified for the text of messages, so it uses whatever the browser
    thinks is your favorite size.
