Well finally got to take my brand new fde pmr30 to the range today. I had been on the hunt for ammo and found a great deal on Hornady 30g v-max so I picked up a half case (500rds).
Anywho, went to the range. Loaded the mags up per instructions and like videos show. Only loaded 20 rounds in each one. First mag went flawless so I was pretty happy. Rest of the mags not so much lol

The rest of the mags would fire a chambered round, extract and spit the spent casing but wouldn't pick up the next round. I shot 100 rounds and other than the first 20, I had to charge the slide every round.
To me it seemed like the guide rod spring is too stiff. I wasn't limp writing it at all either. Maybe it just needs more rounds through it to break it in.

Still love the gun though, got 400 more rounds to hopefully get it broke in

Yea it was both mags. I came home and got online and watched a bunch of videos. Disassembled the mags and cleaned them up, disassembled the gun and cleaned and lubed it again so we'll see what happens next time I go out.

No new updates, it's been a rough month. My father unexpectedly passed away a few weeks ago so I've been dealing with all that and haven't had a chance to go to the range and. I'm in need of some range therapy though

I took my new PMR30 to the range for the first time yesterday afternoon. Things went really well. Of course, I completed the KTOG fluff and buff job on it before I shot it, then cleaned and lubed it real well. I shot 5 full magazines without any issues at all. Like everyone says, it is a "range stopper". Between the loudness, muzzle flash and 30 round mags- people constantly want to spectate and ask questions. It is definitely one of the most fun handguns to shoot. Looking forward to more range time with it soon.

My condolences on your loss.

Peace favor your sword,
