What is the aprox SN of the first of the second gen P3AT s. Female friend likes it and has her friends looking at gun shows. Believe it about HT*** or so ??? Physical description prolly will not work for this. Price guess ??? Ball park Blue used in good shape is 180 - 220 ??? Blue New at a show 240 - 260 ??
How about sending a picture? They are pretty obvious once you know the differences with the slide shape and the frankenbolt, the latter being the most clear. I know there are some difference pictures on KTOG. -Scott
She has pics ... her friends are not KelTec fans and do not know the weapon. Mine is a HZE so I'll have them look for something after that and call her or me first. She knows some of our local LEOs and that they like and carry BUG P3's.
Since you or she won't be buying it, I would recommend buying new. The reason I'm saying this is because of the peening problem KT had on earlier slides. Around here at shows the used P3-AT's are selling for close to the new prices.
