Anyone in the forum know where to get .380 ammo? None available here in north Texas at the local gun shop, Academy or Gander Mountain. No luck so far online, either.

I've been away from the site for a while, but now back.

I've also been looking all over, none to be had.

I'd say just look every day.

I found some online yesterday. 1k rounds for $239 + $20 to ship. Havent decided if I'm gonna buy it or not though. My neighbor reloads and he's talking about splitting the cost of a set of 380 dies...

Cabelas on line, with about a 1-week backorder on most .380 common rounds (Remington, Winchester, etc.) I ordered some.

I also ordered from Cabella's online, 500 rounds for $159.99, about 31 cents per round. 1-2 week backorder, as noted above.

Hi, Classic Pistol , located in Upper Souhampton,Pa 18966 has about 12 boxes of Federal hi shok in stock. They also have 2 brand new P3AT's. I bought one...of  course...$259.00
They told me the ammo is hard for them to purchase, but they hope the supply will catch up to the demand. By the way they are charging $17.90 per box. Hope this helps someone.

Houston resident desperately seeking .380 ammo. Can't find it anywhere. Last place I called actually laughed when I asked if they had any. Someone please help. Can't afford $40 plus dollars for 50 rounds. I need affordable ammo. Thanks

A LGS here in north GA where I hang out now and then got in a shipment of .380 Gold Dot ammo a day or two ago, and still had approximately 12-15 boxes left this afternoon along with quite a few boxes of ammo for several other handgun and rifle calibers.  But the shop was crowded with customers lined up at the cash register so the factory loaded ammo won't be there for long.

Not that those Gold Dots here in GA are any help to you in TX, but the LGS clerk said that ammo in general is becoming more available now and they expect to get in more .380 and a big order of 9x18 mm very soon.  That has to be good news wherever you live if in fact it's true, which I can't vouch for.

Keep looking Cheif. You will come across some. Every time I went to Walmart I looked and sure enough I lucked out one day. Also, ammotogo, cabelas, midway (wait, never mind they just gave up on their warehouse IMNSHO), anywhere online. Bookmark a couple places and check back. You will find some. Don't give up.

For anyone in the Longview, TX area, I was at George's Gun and Pawn today and he had what looked like about 30 boxes of Golden Saber in .380. He had one less when I left...

Went to a local gun shop, no ammo at all, did get 500 primers but paid dearly.
He had some 380 reloads so I got 100 to try, mainly to get the brass.
Wallyworld hasn't seen any in 3 months.

Keep checking the on line sites, I got lucky and got 100 of the 380 hydro shocks at ammo to go,
but they were all gone the next morning.

Yesterday, I picked up a few boxes of Remington 95 gr. from Walmart for $16.95 for 50. They did not have any WWB.

You have to buy it when you see it. I've passed up ammo twice now, and it was gone within a couple hours. I won't make that mistake anymore.
