I have owned a pmr for 2 years and finally found a reasonably priced cmr and bought it . I will take it to the range in the morning . The gun shop had a new pmr in tan ,they just got in , it followed me home too !!!!!! Can't wait to go to the range in the morning !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

yes 2 pmr,s in the family now . I limit myself to 50 rounds . i will load 10 rounds and shoot .so i conserve that way . I would love to be able to load up and rock & roll , but until ammo get up to production and cost come down i have to use willpower and conserve . I read an article that cci is getting ready to do a multi million dollar 22 cal. expansion to their production plant . maybe this will help ?

I just purchased 15 50 round boxes of cci 22 mag 40 grain hp for $ 12.39 a box from local shop , which is $3 less than last month . So maybe the word is out and with the election over prices will become more competitive . Free market dictates prices ! Socialism controls prices and wages !

Ok folks i'm looking for suggestions . I want a hard side case to fit a cmr . Not an over sized rifle case but one sized for the cmr and similar type firearms . Thanks to all in advance

Congrats on the new CMR, I bought one two weeks ago, have not fired it yet. I have had a PMR since sometime back in the Fall of 2011. It is lots of fun.

Thanks ! We finally got a break in the weather & took the cmr out for a 50 round test run of cci 30 hp . 1 fail to eject other than that excellent !! I always disassemble , clean and lube any firearm i buy , i also figure a 500 round break in ! So i think everything went well ! Except i screwed up and let my bride of 44 years shoot it now i'm back to looking for another cmr for her ! She has put up with me and my collecting since before we were married so it's the least i can do for her .

that case idea sounds great. violin might be just about right - the low end ones usually have foam you can pluck out.

Ok friends ! sorry for the slow response to the case question . The boss and I have been fighting some kind of viral infection since the last week of january , after more trips to the dr's than I care to remember and a small fortune spent we are just this week feeling better ! So well that we stopped in to see what's new at Academy Sports !I found the perfect case for the cmr and it will hold 2 pmr's as well plus mags and ammo ! Plano All Weather Tactical item 108936 ! This case is the bomb ! It has removable inserts , multiple hinges and locking points ! I looked at similar on ebay and other sites theirs were $200 ! I paid less than $ 70 ! Check it out I think you will like it ! Again thanks to all and sorry for the slow response ! sorry no pic junk phone broke !!!

Looks cool...I been trying to get out of my hard cases into some multi gun softs. Just takes up less room but the bags get heavy. I got one from academy that is a 2 gun soft and im able to get 3 rifles in it. I put my 15-22 in one compartment and then I can fit the CMR and my cs scorpion carbine in the other side with the stocks collapsed. That hard one tho will protect better. Here is a pic for you.
