Sorry for posting (2) threads in two days as I just purchased this Keltec SUB2K in G19/9MM yesterday but was so impressed with it's initial out-of-the-box performance that I felt this vid deserved it's own thread...

(Note: mods?...it you're not okay with this feel free to move and condense it with my other thread)

Now my performance on the other hand?...kind of blew...as it's been quite awhile since I ever shot a carbine in an indoor range where normally?...I'd be outdoors and wearing earplugs...where I dumbed up wearing muffs and found myself struggling to get a good cheek weld to this pipe stocked carbine which made obtaining a decent sight picture a major PITB to where I said screw it and just went with the spray and pray method of not aiming which in turn?....

Made this 57 year old former Marine Rifle Expert and former 3 gun I.P.S.C. Tactical Competitor feel like a rookie newb as I relegated myself to just pumping some break-in rounds through my new S2K and I must say?...

I went into this EXPECTING JAMS...after all?...I read where these S2K's like a bare min of 124gr+ loads (and heavier) for the first 500rds or so of break-in and all I had on hand was my gobs of old stockpiled 115gr PMC...a favorite plinking load for my G34...but enough typing...here's the vid...hope you enjoy watching as much as I enjoyed shooting as I was pleasantly surprised! :)

It's nice to see others have the same experience as I had with my Sub2K. I went through two hundred rounds of the infamous WWBs with no malfunctions whatsoever. Since then, I have run all kinds of low end/high end ammo through this thing and it just keeps on ticking. Accurate too. Enjoy.

Were your WWBs in the 50 round box?

Break in rounds are a ton of fun. Whatever you have to tell yourself for an excuse to sneak in a range trip right? LOL

Mine got a dose of the 50 round drum, two 33 round happy sticks and 5 17 rounders (one loaded only to 16) for its first 200 rounds. Accuracy be damned just pumped em out as fast as possible because I could. Any new gun day at the range is alot of fun but of all of them that is still one of the best ones I've ever had.

Subsequent trips I took my time, started sorting out some of the issues I had with it but over all I'm pleased with the end result. A friend of mine was sad that last time I met up with him at the range because he had just assumed I'd drag it along. That day I was only wanting to work with some of my new wheel guns exclusively. I guess its time to dust my sub off and get it out again for a spin.

Nice video. The Sub 2K is a blast to shoot. I have had mine just a short time and I am very pleased with the rifle.

Thanks folks and I've got to say....

I must've relived popping off those 60rds last night a dozen times today as this SUB2000 is both a serious contender (should trouble arise) as much as it is just a freaking blast to own and shoot! :)

I used to be an avid competitor in IPSC 3 gun Tactical Events a couple decades ago where I cycled through several AR and AK variants but believe it or not?...the rifle I ran my best times and scores with was a highly breathed on M1 Carbine that I had up-modded for 30rd mags and designed and machined my own Red-Dot mount for and I loved that little rifle but I used to ring it out so hard I got tired of the gas piston coming loose (probably should've brazed it) and hunting ammo (pre-internet days) and sold it...but it was my all time fav little rifle...until a day ago. :)

I'm in the same boat. I am a competitive shooter and always thought my JP Enterprises AR15 was the most fun to shoot. My new Sub 2K has taken the top spot in "most fun to shoot". I have several steel targets and set them out a various distances out to 100 yards. This rifle has no problems hitting them all.
