I agree, mine are now reverted back to factory and the other "reliable" one is just a range toy. However, there was a recent thread here about replacing the spring with a ruger one? Haven't tried it, but should I bump into one of those mags at my favorite pawn shop or gun show table, I plan to test this for myself.

While the factory 1 round extension on my P3AT works flawlessly while allowing my ring finger to grip, I find that the 1 round extension on my PF9 allows the magazine to move around when firing (though I've never has a feed problem). I find this quite disconcerting, and so use that 8 round magazine as a carry spare. I figure that if I'm ever in a carry situation where I need to utilize my spare magazine the odd feel of that mag will be the least of my concerns.
