I bought a 17rd and a 31rd magazine from ETS a few months ago and keep having problems with them in the S2K. In the Glocks they are OK, though they had some FTF/FTEs. In the S2K they have no FTF/FTEs, but they just won't come out of the magwell without me putting a screw driver in the receiver and popping them out with force.

I don't know if it is a problem with a dirty gun? I cleaned the S2K and the mags came out by yanking them, but the more I shoot the harder they become to get out. The problem with this is it only took 15 rounds for it to become completely stuck.

Anyone else having problems?

Here's a video I am sending to ETS about the problem. (It may need time to render into a good quality)

Here's the video

Same stuff happened with my SGM tactical mags. I suspect this will happen with any mag that isnt a pmag or official glock mag.

When the bolt is back on the gun, slide the mag in until you hear the click, don't slap it like you would do a regular pmag or glock mag. If you slap it in with the same force you would a regular pmag or glock mag, it'll get stuck in there. I literally had this happen where it was so stuck that the bolt wouldn't even go forward because the mag was blocking it. Took me and two ROs to pull it out.

Besides my ETS mags all of my other mags are perfectly fine, even when slapped in. After the video I checked my SGM mag, Surefire mag, and korean mags, and all of them fit perfectly well. They took a little yank to come out, but they all come out with little force.

I have 3 older ones and 3 newer ones. I went to the range again today, and put 300 rounds through using only these mags. They all dropped free empty with no problem, and 4 of the 6 dropped free when loaded. They have a lifetime warranty, I would contact ETS and see what they say.

I contacted ETS. They said there are people who contact them with similar problems, but mine seems to be the worst they've seen. They say it's more of the grip/magwell on the S2K rather than the mags. I'm going to loosen and retorque the screws on the S2K and see if anything changed

I can get them stuck only if I jam it in the magwell with excessive force with the bolt open. It clicks into place with the bolt to the rear using very little force, so it isn't necessary to use much force at all. Bolt forward, it isn't any more difficult than any other stick magazine. I like mine.

I'm having the same problems in my SUb 2000 Gen2 with the ETS 31 rd mags.

I think I've identified 2 possible causes of the problem. Compared with calipers, the ETS magwall is slightly narrower (~0.25mm) than the Glock OEM, so that shouldn't be causing the jam. But the ETS magazine is about 1-2mm taller than a Glock OEM magazine. And the angle of the bevel at the top of mag has a slight bump. When jammed up into the magwell.

I too have had mag insert issues with my ETS G17 mags in my Sub2K. When the magazine is fully loaded, the mag will not lock into the magwell without a heavly slap, which sometimes causes the magazine to get jam stuck in the magwell. Had to pull it out with a vicegrip last time, to get it out. Never again.

I switched back to my OEM mags. I also found that KCI (those Korean clone mags) have the same dimensions and fit without issue.
