Yep has prices are crazy. Seems like Texas prices should be cheapest in the country. The gas companies are charging texas residents as much everyone else.

Hammer block to protect the firing pin when dry firing the KelTec P17.

I really don't need to dry fire any gun I own and especially my two P17's. I get enough practice firing my guns at the Range which I visit once every week! But there are those of us who feel this kind of practice is needed, I Guess!(y)

The firing pin has a triangular shape that wants to crack the bolt slot (split), especially when dry fired, as I found out and Keltec repaired.

I would never dry fire a rimfire. I don't see a purpose for it. I don't really dry fire any of my firearms.

I will dry fire a centerfire but not a rimfire.

It sort of tickles me reading the operators operating operationally about the dryfiring. SMDH

If the firing pin/striker is engineered to stop before it hits the barrel it's okay to dry fire it, the front of the firing pin/striker will not be damaged by impact.
