I keep hearing and reading abot different models of the RDB - but all I see on the Kel Tec web site is one model - are there different models and where can I get descriptions of the different models? Can I get parts from Kel Tec to change models on my own?

My understanding is that there's only one model currently available. I don't think there are even different colors available... supposedly they're releasing the RDB-C next year, but we all know what their track record is like.

a gentleman told me over at atxarmory.com that kel-tec will produce in spurts with each of their offerings. i have yet to see any RDBs in OD Green or FDE. Likewise, the M43 with the wood grain has yet to be seen for purchase either. with all this demand you'd think kel-tec would open another production facility; obviously they're not hurting for money or in any rush to meet demand. but, imagine all that money they could be making.

I remember hearing chad saying on a YouTube vid that the boss man wants to keep producing old items rather then let them die off (or put on hold) and divert all build power to new items. I think we are 2 years out from any light of a new product being released unless they dump money into a new facility.

as for the RDB I would recommend it in a heartbeat. I just had an offer to trade for an 805 bren pistol and I declined as I enjoy the rifle to much and its as hard as unicorn tears to find. If you can find one I would not hesitate for a second to pick it up.

LOL, not sure what, if anything, I'd wanna do with my RDB, when I get it - but I was curious about the different model numbers. At this point, all I'm sure of is that I'll put a red dot on it.

Just to confirm - the RDBs can use 5.56 AND .223, right??
