I don't own a .223. I plan to remedy that problem with a KelTec. I'm thinking I'd like a folding version so it's packable. Which version do you recommend? The A or the C? Based on Internet searches the SU16 is quite competively priced to any of the AR15 varients which I was originally looking at.

I like the CA, and not just because it (was) legal in California. I never cared for the Charlie stock, but I like the Charlie front end. Although, modern Bravo does not have a pencil barrel anymore, and the barrel is fractionally longer.

So now that I've reviewed the pics thread and this one and learned the models, I'm looking for a SU16C ;)
Next, need to search local dealers for one. I've heard Grice over in Clearfield PA has a huge firearm selection. Any members near there know if they carry KelTec and might have one. I'm about 90 miles from there.
Anybody in western PA know of a LGS with an SU16C for a decent price?

I've never cared for 16" barrels on any rifle, so for me the SU-16A was the natural choice. The 18.5" barrel adds less than 1" to the folded length vs. the C model, provides for a much longer sight radius than the other models which makes for better accuracy with the sights, and contrary to what's pictured on Kel-tec's website, the A model front sight is very similar to that of an AR15. Mine easily does 2" @ 100 yds. with the factory sights and handloads.
