I don't see any reason that you could use a CMR for any game that is legal to take with a rim fire cartridge. Very accurate.

Had the same idea. I hunt Squirell with dogs and 28Ga shotgun. I started bumping into wild hogs but #4 shot is not good for hog. I switched to CMR 30 and waiting for season start to try it.

You may want to rethink this. Hogs are tuff, smart and when pissed off can be vicious

22 mag for hogs

I've used .22 mag for hogs before. Shot placement is THE KEY...
I liked shooting them in the ear. Makes quick work of'em...

Small game season open today, finally got the chance to take my CMR30 out for a field test. I love it!! I've been hunting small game since the 90s and this little CMR30 surpassed my expectations. Better than any small game rifles I've ever owned. Ultralight weight, super ergonomic, awesome. I'm happy I owned two of these. View attachment 26050

Yes but I didn't want to post any pictures or say I hunt animals to put meat on the table because there are a lot of PETA and VEGAN police patrolling on the Internet.

Don't worry. Be Happy. Trophy pics are welcome. I do recall some pics being removed because they were graphic a few years back. But members were curious about the performance of the Magnum. Post them up, if the powers at be don't like them, they will remove them.
