Want To Buy - P64, aka Radom P64, CZAK, "Polish Makarov" (yeah, I know).

I'm located in Dayton, Ohio area.

Offer starts at $170.  Will negotiate based on year, condition, number of magazines, and other accessories.  (I'd like a '68 but that's not a deal breaker)

I do not need a spring kit (I already have one coming from Wolff).  If you have a spring kit on it and we can make a deal, you can part out the hammer spring and main spring.

    Peace favor your sword,
    Kirk

*Note: I am actively looking on other sites as well

Sniper Country has them periodically, but they're out right now.
If you find a P-83 Wanad in your travels, PM me. I'd like to add that one to my P-64. :)

I had one on order with my LGS from SOG. Pre-paid, only to find out, "out of stock." (That's why I have a spring set.)

SOG is advertising P-83s and Bulgies for $239.

Thanks for the heads up on Sniper Country.

    Peace favor your sword,
    Kirk

Hey Kirk, You might want to check out the Lima gun show this weekend. There is a guy that I deal with there that deals in surplus arms. He usually has good prices. I bought my Bulgarian Makarov and a Mosin Nagant 91/30. He has good prices on Russian ammo also. His phone number is 419-363-3722.

    Thanks for the heads-up!

It's an hour+ drive from Huber Heights to Lima, but definitely worth giving a call.  Thanks again.

    Peace favor your sword,
    Kirk

    Edit:
Called the gentleman. He doesn't have any and doesn't expect to get any.

    Bummer. :(

    Kirk,

I'm in Cincinnati and I have one I might be willing to let go of, with 5 or 6 mags. I'll have to see what I have in it and let you know how much I can let it go for, if you're interested.

Hey Kirk, I bought an SKS from Cromanos. I am very happy with the deal and the rifle!

If you just cannot find one you might join and monitor the makarov forum. All 9x18 guns have sort of migrated over there and sometimes you see some for sale or can get some leads.

I was a member at the Makarov forum over on gunboards. I'm not going back.

    I appreciate the suggestion, though.

Craig - thanks for the nice words, greatly appreciated and I'm glad you're enjoying the SKS!

Kirk - I sent you a PM over on OFCC with details.

    Transaction successfully completed.

    Feedback:
The pistol was as described and even included a Doscocil pistol case. This particularly tickled me because I spend a summer security guarding for the Doscocil plant in DFW while working my way through college.

The pistol appears to be in very good condition, fired very little, with minor holster wear.

Kirk - I enjoyed meeting you and your son, enjoy the pistol and don't hesitate to let me know if you run into any problems, which I don't expect you will, other than trying to remove that slide, which as you noted, is a bear (it IS possible, but not trivial). Also left you positive feedback on OFCC.
