If you talk to service and not parts, they will usually send you springs and other small parts free, assuming yours need replacing and you're not just stocking up on spare parts.

Friday I called to get a guide rod and springs for my P40 which I gouged pretty good field stripping it. They were very happy to send me one set. When I asked "Is it asking too much to send me two?" the answer came back "yup."
