The RDB-C has now come out and has a button style mag release. I also saw this youtube posting about a prototype button mag release for the pistol grip lower of the RDB.

Since the RDB-C uses this same button mag release, will this become the standard mag release on future models of the RDB? This button design reduces the possibility of an inadvertent mag drop by accidentally pressing the lever mag release with the trigger hand.
