Well I took my P3AT to the range today for the first time and it breaks. I only put 55 rounds of WWB through it and out pops the recoil spring. Of course I bought it used so I was wondering if Kel-tec will still fix this issue? What should be done?

Thanks,
Brent

There was a bad batch of slides 2 years ago where the hole for the recoil guide rod peened.  You got one.  Call KT.  They will replace the slide.

Yeah I figured that was the issue. Before I purchased the pistol I checked the serial number against the list on this site and it wasn't listed. I guess I'll call kel-tec in the morning.

Thanks,
Brent

Techincally, you don't have a warranty as it officially only applies to the original owner.  Don't ask - don't tell applies.

YIKES! Not pretty at all. It is a simple fix...but the down time bites!

When you get it back- be sure to have a set of JFB Buffers ready to install.

I was going to order some this week just to be on the safe side. I guess I should have order them before going to the range.

Thanks,
Brent
