Has anyone studied which ammo actually has the thickest brass?

Seeing how the 22 Mag rounds are not made for automatic pistols, the brass is thin. When you load thirty rounds on each other, some will dent.

I want to buy a brand from now on that has a thicker sidewall. I am hoping to find a round that will help reliability. Once I get mine back from Kel-Tec.

This is interesting.. I don't think you will find significant differences across the brands. There isn't room to make it very thick or tough. This would be a good place for someone to make steel cased ammo -- no primer, so you don't reuse it anyway, which is the biggest problem with steel centerfire cases, and much stronger, which would help with the autoloader. Someone needs to do this.
