Congrats on the purchase. The PMR is my favorite gun to shoot. I'm sure you'll love it.

BTW, Field & Stream had a ton of V-Max on the shelf today @ $14.99 a box. Still a little high, but I was happy to see it! And yes, I did purchase a few...

I picked it up yesterday from my FFL. While I was there I picked up a box of Federal 50g Game Shoks and a box of Speer 40g Gold Dots.

The half loaded magazine filled with the Armscore would not reliably manually cycle through about half the rounds. No problems with the others. I'm thinking that I may have not had the Armscore loaded/stacked properly in the magazine.

Planning on a range day next week and hope to become proficient by then loading rounds into the magazine.

Armscor is not the hottest .22 WMR around. Don't be surprised if it fails to cycle reliably. Mine short-stroked occasionally, ejecting the fired case, but failing to pick up a fresh round. It will get better as the pistol breaks in. Mine was also sensitive to lubrication. Grease was too thick to use on the rails which had tight clearances. It worked better with CLP.

Mine really likes Hornady Critical Defense (if you can find it). It's both accurate and reliable. Reliable, but terribly inaccurate in mine (keyholing) is any kind of CCI with a 40 grain bullet. Gold Dots work well in mine.

Yes, I'm aware. I don't expect the cycling to be 100% due to my observation and that fact.

Update: Took it to the range yesterday and ran 100 rounds through it. Had zero issues with the Armscore ammo - unless I tried to load more than 20 rounds into the magazine. That caused major binding and FTF issues.

The gun is a blast to fire. :)
