I never had any problem pulling the trigger on my S2K quickly enough that the neighbors thought we were shooting a "machine gun".

I maybe a little slow, how is this thing legal? One pull of the trigger & 2 shots, one pull & one release looks like a mighty small loophole.
Because the actual language is thus:

The term “machinegun” means any weapon which shoots, is designed to shoot, or can be readily restored to shoot, automatically more than one shot, without manual reloading, by a single function of the trigger.

The BATFE has repeatedly ruled that pulling the trigger is a single function and releasing the trigger is a separate single function.

...pretty much the same way that they had repeatedly ruled that Bumpstocks weren't a machine gun.

Peace favor your sword,
Kirk

how is it dangerous? Gun is pointed in a safe direction at a target you want to destroy before you touched the trigger, right?
It's an awesome little trigger. I have one on my AR and if they offer it for the CMR30 I'LL get one for that as well. Just be mindful of what you're doing and you'll be fine

In my most recent build I considered a binary trigger, but I can use a standard trigger pretty darn quick with aimed fire. It sounds like a machinegun rate of fire. So I saved my $400. I've seen them in use and I think it's a great range toy. Not dangerous at all if using the safety between ones ears IMO.
