Some people consider a light a necessity on a home defense shotgun, others don't.
In most cases a light is used as a flash illumination...... you stay dark and when needed switch it on for just an instant and right back off.

In all cases what accessories you add to a home defense gun depends on what your specific situation and potential threat is.
Not all guns have to have anything other people think is an absolute must.
In my specific home defense situation no light is needed so adding a light would increase the complexity, bulk, and weight of the gun and actually reduce the speed on target.

Lol!

I only use a sling if I'm out and about on the property and want my hands free. So a QD makes more sense for me. Would mostly leave the sling off, but nice to have the option.

Going to find out if replacing followers invalidates the warranty. I see Keltec sells them. I think I'd only use aluminum ones.
I like it. Good quality. I slipped it on from the back of the pic rail because the muzzle plate gets in the way up front.

Here are some photos of the HTC-109_NR Hi-Tech Custom KSG-NR/KS7/KSG Mini-Side Angle Rail (Left or Right) on my KSG.

I have a question - can blast force shatter the taclight lens if I mount it too far forward? I shattered a plant pot and patio table glass top once with just a 10/22 when I was shooting at a squirrel from my deck.
Susie, Following your trys - I'd really like to know what your final setup consists of. Just got my KSG about a month ago, and want to add a light and sights for sure. Please advise as to what you like after time has passed. Thanks.
