Hey all, I got a P-3at on order and was curious if I could get some advice on some of the best accessories out there.

I would like to pick up some extra mags and some Grip Extenders. Which work the best and where can I order them?

Also, can someone clue me in on this +1 extension, do these increase the mag capacity by 1 and also include a grip extension?

    Thanks for any advice! :)

Go here to their website and you can either call and order what you want or just do it online.

I have extra mags and the +1 extension. The mag extension is the best way to go IMHO because not only does it allow you to carry that extra round, but also it provides extra grip and makes the gun more controllable. I carry IWB or in a pocket holster and can notice no difference between the mags that have it installed or a plain on. Due to the shape of the extension there is not "hook" to snag or poke like there is with the grip extension. Some guys here won't carry anything but a regular mag but I've had no problems with feed jams or anything else so why not go for the extra round and more controllability? YMMV...

In addition to finger extensions offered by Kel-Tec there are others.

The Bersa Thunder finger extension (black grip above) is a direct replacement (part #MZ-FPK). The thinner but longer finger extension is a NAA Guardian (gray grip), which requires minor modification described on this page http://www.geocities.com/PocketGuns/P32ext.html (P-32 & P-3AT both accept it and there is a link for purchasing it). There are several places you can find the Bersa Thunder extension. Here’s one http://www.bersafirearmsusa.com/parts_380lt_mat.php ( part 48 ).

Magazine Finger Extension Base Plates for the Kel-Tec P-3AT:

The Bersa (smooth) and Scherer (textured) style extensions need no modifications.
The NAA style extensions must be modified slightly.
    Instructions: http://www.geocities.com/PocketGuns/P32ext.html
Another option is the Kel-Tec 1-Round Magazine Extension which extends the magazine and also allows loading an extra round.

Be a man and shoot it naked like it came from the factory! ( smaller is better, at least in this case) :)

I tend to agree. But, when I fired some DPX rounds, which are pretty hot, I felt the Bersa extender helped me better control the weapon.

Its really preference, I guess. Go with what works for you.
