Installed my MCarbo spring kit and aluminum trigger. when putting it all back together, I shot that little ball bearing across the basement and I don't anticipate it coming back soon.

On Keltec's site, I see they sell the safety, but doesn't look like the ball bearing comes with it. Does anyone know if they will sell this part by phone OR what size do they use so I can order from a third party.

Other than that, the spring kit and trigger work great. Very nice pull. Still quite a bit of creep, but much more crisp than with the stock parts.

Thanks, and now at least I know what I'm looking for in the basement. If I find it, I guess I'll have an extra one. Ordered a new one and a couple extra C Clips.

The spring didn't go that far, but the detent was no where nearby.

At the factory last week it was stated there is a new...larger...detent for the safety. Just to let you know.
Ok, got my parts in, and installed them... The detent was a brass cylinder with a round top. I could have sworn the one that I lost was a silver color. Anyway, the new part was too small and slipped out after getting the C-Clips back in place.

I contacted Kel-tec and told them I needed the detent for the Gen 2 model, they were very nice, and sent me out another brass detent, identical to the one I got in my first shipment and some plastic detents. All of which are too small to stay in place.

Was I dreaming, or do I need a silver/chrome/stainless colored detent?

Except it's not. Pops right out with both c clips installed.
Yep, I had that problem once. Position the detent in the two-o'clock position to minimize that inadvertant launch. There is a step-by-step PDF for disassembly and reassembly in the sticky section that's excellent (with pics). AoG

(IMHO, the sticky is far better than Internet videos). http://www.1bad69.com/keltec/DisassemblySUB2000.pdf

What a difference the right part makes. Kel-Tec sent me an entire safety kit this time. The new detent design is .155 inches in diameter while the old design(the one kel tec kept sending me) is .125 inches in diameter.

So Haugrdr, you were right on the money. Thanks for everyone's help.
