I just picked up a gen 2 sub2000 in 9mm, I looked through the sub porn and sight mount thread and I didn't see any set up with a left side offset forward mounted pistol scope, has anyone done this?

I can hang a long eye-relief 2-7x scope off of one side and a Vism VDBRGLB dot off the other, and still be able to use the irons down the center. Still doesn't weigh that much, and you can strip all the stuff off in seconds. Any scope is nice to hang off the left side, if you're left-handed, as you'll consequently point the ejection port away from your face, so it doesn't spit on your cheek.....

I've seen those, I don't like how they have to be moved to unfold. I'm wanting something that doesn't get in the way of it folding or unfolding. So I was thinking of mounting it on the side like you commonly see on lever guns except mounted further forward because of the design, as a bonus it would still allow easy use of the iron sights for up close.
