    Anyone have their piece ported?

The point isn't recoil per se, it's keeping the sight picture minimally disturbed for follow up shots.

I did this on my Walther PPS (40 cal), and it did improve my speed on multiple targets.

Just curious, and also which gunsmith did you use?

I am not sure porting a p3at is a good idea if you are going to use it for CC at night. I have a Glock 22c and when you fire it at night it will almost blind you with the flash in front of you. Not a good idea if you need to get another shot off at the BG.

If you are going to use it for CC at night you might want to check out one of our sponsors, Arma-Laser. I have one of their units on my p3at and really love it. You can tell right where you aim with the little red dot on your target, that might relieve your concerns about your target and the cost includes a pocket holster that fits the weapon and laser.
